Minutes from the August meeting were read and approved. Members were advised that the yearly dues were due. The anniversary luncheon will be at noon, Nov. 10, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church. Discussion will be held at the September meeting and tickets will be available. Myrna M. was reminded to e-mail all members reminding them about the meetings.
The meeting was turned over to Mary Langr for the program titled ?In Memory of Carolyn.? Mary gave an overview of the book that was donated to the library, dedicated in Carolyn Schmidt?s name, titled The Right Size Garden by Kerry Mendez. Mary gave a lot of interesting details and information from the book.
Refreshments were served by Shirley.
