Chapter MX, P.E.O. met Monday, Oct. 5, at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Norma Wright. Twelve members were present. Chaplain Kathleen Almelien gave devotions. Treasurer Barbara Liebe gave the financial report. President Marjorie Lins conducted the business meeting. Committee reports were given. Marjorie Lins has finalized her plans to attend the International Convention in Indianapolis. The group voted to nominate a local candidate for the Iowa P.E.O. Project Fund Inc. Helen Slechta told of attending the Centennial Celebration of her former chapter. Chapter MX will have a Social meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 20. Karen Moenck is the hostess. The next business meeting will be Nov. 2, at 7:30 p.m. Barbara Liebe is hostess. Norma Wright showed a clip of a FOX Channel 2 broadcast. The broadcast featured the P.E.O. Founders.
