Sacha Club of Ainsworth met at the home of Ann Freyenberger on May 22.

Ten members attended. Treasurer and secretary reports were approved. Karen Megchelsen reported on the Scholarship Committee meeting. Kylen Anderson was selected to receive the Sacha Club Scholarship this year.

Election of officers was held: Karen Megchelsen - president, Brenda Bean ?vice president, Rocky Roberts ? treasurer, Linda McNeil ? secretary/reporter, and Linda Lord ? historian.

Discussion was held regarding the annual craft show. This year it will be on Nov. 4. Location is uncertain at this time pending the availability of the Ainsworth Elementary School. Alternative sites were discussed. Decision on location will need to be made at the club?s August meeting. Liz Kaufman presented a very informative program on the history of Marr Park.

Next meeting will be held Aug. 7 at Ann Freyenberger?s.
