Norma Dunbar gave the 1-5 info on Sears homes that were built in the 1930s and 1940s. Marilyn Klise instructed the club in January how to make a button necklace. Those that finished so far were: Sandy Weller, who made a beautiful black glass necklace; and Linda Beatty, displayed her necklace with a turkey shell pendant incorporated with buttons. She found the shell on her vacation in Panama at Christmastime. Several more are finishing their necklaces to be shown in March.
Sandy went over the 2016 program booklets, and members made additions and corrections. Sharon served a wonderful lunch of pizza and assorted snacks in the morning with coffee. After lunch, Sandy presented button bingo. It was a challenge to know the answers to button facts.
Thanks to all who served. Please contact Sandy Weller at 653-4572, if you would like information about joining the button club.
