Tuesday Coffee Club was held at Central Park Center on Nov. 17. Eleven members attended and Judy Donaldson and Sharon Niffenegger were co-hostess. Judy had the table decorated with timely Thanksgiving décor that she had made herself. She made the pumpkins from jar lids painted and arranged to look so much like real pumpkins everyone had to take a second look. Refreshments were served by Judy and Sharon with a good time of visiting. Thanksgiving plans were discussed by each member telling their plans for the day. Sounds as if much family time will be spent with turkey and dressing on the menu.

Sharon Niffenegger introduced the guest speakers from the new Hills Bank here in Washington. Becky Mougin and Katie Miller did a fantastic job of entertaining members with the history of Hills Banks in Iowa to their present time banks. They extended an invitation to all present to come to see the new facility and enjoy a cup of coffee with them. Members enjoyed coffee mugs and 2016 calendars as a gift from the bank.

The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 1, with Mary Jane Shaffer as hostess, to breakfast at HyVee at 9:30 a.m. Please note that the date is Dec.1, not Dec. 2 as mentioned at the meeting.
