The Washington County Historical Society executive board met at 7 p.m., Sept. 22, at Conger House. Ferd Marie was presiding officer. Six members attended.
A report was given about the yard work that has been done. Zoe Cane reported on the middle school History Club that has been organized. Several field trips have been planned. The Washington Community School fifth-graders will be visiting Red Brick School on Oct. 28, to utilize the old voting booth there in connection with the national elections.
There will be a fall festival at Conger House on Oct. 16. Following the festival, Conger House will be closed for the year except by appointment.
