The Walnut Women?s Club met at 6:15 p.m., Sept. 8, at Crooked Creek Christian Camp for a family picnic. Nine members and six husbands enjoyed a bounty of food. Carolyn Bollman and Mary Ann Pacha hosted the picnic.

The Walnut Women?s Club met at 6:15 p.m., Sept. 8, at Crooked Creek Christian Camp for a family picnic. Nine members and six husbands enjoyed a bounty of food. Carolyn Bollman and Mary Ann Pacha hosted the picnic.
A short business meeting was conducted by Mary Ann Pacha. Roll call was answered by telling ?What I Like Best About Country Life.? Joyce Letts read the secretary?s report, and Carolyn Bollman gave the treasurer?s report. Kate Pacha made a motion for the meeting to adjourn, seconded by Carolyn Bollman. The evening was spent visiting.
Next month?s meeting will be at 7 p.m., Oct. 13, in the home of Carolyn Bollman. The program will be ?Retirement Home.? Every member is to bring $5 for the Christmas projects.
