The Central Park Community Center board meeting was held Tuesday, Oct. 6, with nine members present. Max Cousins conducted the meeting. Treasurer Barb Nelson gave the treasurer?s report. Nancy Kimmel, secretary, read the minutes of the last meeting, which was approved. It was reported that there was a good turnout for Bingo last week, and the was won. A new vacuum sweeper has been purchased for the Center.

SHARE Iowa will be at the Center from 9 to 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 24. The Center will be open on Oct. 31 for handing out candy to the Halloweeners. On Nov. 3 the Center will be open as a polling place.
The meeting was adjourned.
