Club News

Tuesday Coffee Club met at HyVee for a nice warm breakfast on a cold morning. Twelve members gathered for a time of friendship, visiting, and food. The Dec. 5 meeting was hosted by Mary Jane Shaffer.

Betty Flynn is the hostess for the next meeting which will be held on Monday not the normal day of Tuesday, Dec. 18. Members will meet at Pizza Hut at 11:30 a.m. for lunch.

Thanksgiving travels and family gatherings were discussed and plans for the up-coming Christmas season. Travel plans for Christmas, shopping and time with families was shared. Many have decided that a gift card or having your daughter do the family shopping for you is the way to make shopping easier. All were in agreement that the meaning of Christmas and sharing family time was so important in such busy times.
