The regular meeting of Chapter OC, P.E.O., met February 9 at the home of Margi Jarrard with Kate Glinsmann and Linda Soukup serving as co-hostesses.

Chapter OC has recently recommended a student for $15,000 for the Educational Loan Fund, a low-interest loan program, and two local women have been recently recommended for Sarah Porter Beckwith Friendship Funds to help women in financially challenging situations.

The next meeting will be March 9, at 7:30 p.m., at the Game Room of Halcyon House and will include the installation of new officers. A five-minute update on the Partners in Peace program, a part of the International Peace Scholarship project, will be presented by Jean Macenski. Chapter OC is a partner with Sarah Elaraby, a Johns Hopkins student from Egypt.
