WEST CHESTER ? The West Chester United Methodist women met at the church at 6:30 p.m., Sept. 9, with 17 people in attendance.

The secretary?s and treasurer?s reports were given. Pat Dusenbery, Education and Interpretation chairman, read from The Upper Room on prayer and how important it is in everyone?s daily lives, and that everyone should be thoughtful and watchful each day.
Doris Fisher presented the list of officers for 2016: president, Sharon Hahn; vice president, Nancy Schmidt; secretary, Jeaniene Dusenbery; treasurer, Doris Fisher; historian, Bev Zehr; Nominations, Doris Fisher; Education and Interpretation, Pat Dusenbery; Spiritual Growth, Anita Miller; Membership, Outreach and Nurture, Sharon Hahn and Doris Fisher; cards, Dolly Combs. A motion was made, seconded and carried to accept the officers as listed. A motion was made, seconded and carried to have the Election Night Supper for another year. A planning meeting will be held at 9 a.m., Sept. 29.
Jean Stout and Marsha Patterson served refreshments for the evening. Sharon closed the meeting with prayer. The next meeting will be Oct. 14 at the church.
