The monthly meeting of the Central Park Community Center was held Tuesday, Jan. 12, with eight members present. President Max Cousins conducted the meeting. Treasurer Barb Nelson gave the treasurer?s report. A few bills were paid. Secretary Nancy Kimmel read the minutes of the last meeting, which were approved. Yearly dues were collected.
There isn?t too much going on at this time of year, outside of bingo on Thursday evenings and the usual card games through the week. A few people drop in to visit, and others come in to borrow a piece of medical equipment available at the Center. Anyone in need of an item is welcome to check at the Center.
The Center would like to thank the bingo players who volunteer to donate food each week for break time. Bingo continues to do well.
SHARE Iowa will be at the Center from 9 to 10 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 23.
The meeting was adjourned.
