Twelve members of Chapter DL of the National T.T.T. Society met Feb. 9, at the home of Janet Peterson. Marilyn Mangold served as co-hostess.
President Lea Smothers called the meeting to order with members singing the Sword of Gold. The minutes were approved as read and the treasurer?s report was accepted.
Camp girls who needed snowpants, mittens, hats and boots were outfitted. It was voted upon to send four girls to camp this summer. Lea donated four handmade pillowcases to present to the 2016 campers. Nuts and chocolates are still being sold through any member or Phyllis Eisele at 653-4968. Profits from the sale will help to send these girls to a week of T.T.T. Camp with their expenses being paid.
The chapter discussed and voted to change a Standing Rule concerning convention expenses. An invitation for the 68th Iowa State Convention was received. The convention will be held April 15 and16 at the Hotel Kirkwood in Cedar Rapids.
The next meeting will be held March 14, at the home of Phyllis Eisele. The meeting closed with the reciting of the Closing Creed.
