The Central Park Community Center held its monthly meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 1, with seven members present. Max Cousins conducted the meeting. Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. The treasurer?s report was read by Judy Grover in the absence of Barb Nelson.

The Central Park Community Center held its monthly meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 1, with seven members present. Max Cousins conducted the meeting. Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. The treasurer?s report was read by Judy Grover in the absence of Barb Nelson.
Max reported on the good turnout for Halloween. He estimated that there were approximately 700 Halloween participants who stopped by. Members were reminded to turn their clocks back on Nov. 6 and on Election Day Nov. 8. The Optimist Club will have a pancake supper at the Center from 4 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 15. The Center is rented for Saturday, Nov. 12. There will be no bingo on Thursday, Nov. 24, which is Thanksgiving. Max reported that on Oct. 27, four bingo jackpots were won. SHARE Iowa will be at the Center from 9 to 10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 19.
