The June 9 meeting of Chapter J, P.E.O. was hosted by Peggy Helscher and co- hosted by Charlotte Anderson. Eleven members were present.
The meeting was conducted by President Lynn Loula.
Carol Winga, chaplain, read Scripture from Ecclesiastics 1:1-18 followed by prayer.
A book swap was held with proceeds going to P.E.O. projects.
Sara Bartlett will host the July 7 meeting in her home.

Lynn Loula, delegate to the recent P.E.O. State convention in Des Moines, spoke on the business of the meeting. The highlight was a woman from each project who was awarded a grant, scholarship or loan speaking on how it made her education a reality.
