The Washington County Historical Society executive board met at 9:10 a.m., July 23, 2015, at Conger House in Washington. Ferd Marie was presiding officer. Eight members attended.
Mike Kramme announced that the Society had received a $2,000 mini grant from the Washington County Riverboat Foundation. Danielle Kane said that the ice cream social had been a success. Vic Thompson said that the open house of Red Brick School was also held last Sunday. The group learned that Mike Zahs would be showing the Brinton films at the Ainsworth Opera House at 7 p.m., July 24 and July 25, and at North English on July 26.
Upcoming events include a display in Curves for the gallery walk. Conger House will be open from 1 to 4 p.m. on the third Sunday of each month through October.
The next meeting will be at 9 a.m., Aug. 27, at Conger House.
