The H.J. Club met at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, May 19, at the Central Park Community Center in Washington, with co-hostesses Rosamond Goodlander and Darlene Kelley and seven other members present.
Rosamond Goodlander conducted the business meeting by calling the roll, which was answered by each member telling about a memorable Mother?s Day. She then read the minutes of the March and April meetings. For entertainment, ...

The H.J. Club met at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, May 19, at the Central Park Community Center in Washington, with co-hostesses Rosamond Goodlander and Darlene Kelley and seven other members present.
Rosamond Goodlander conducted the business meeting by calling the roll, which was answered by each member telling about a memorable Mother?s Day. She then read the minutes of the March and April meetings. For entertainment, Darlene Kelley gave the instructions for playing the card game Maneuvers, a game played by seniors in Washington, Hills, Waterloo and possibly other places. It is a good card game for keeping the brain active. For refreshments, the group then went to the Frontier Family Restaurant for pie and coffee.
In June the club will meet with Joleen Krotz and Jan Marek.
