Club News

Chapter DL T.T.T. met on April 9, at the home of Robyn Lamb. Co-hostess was Betty Beenblossom. Ten members attended.

The club received acceptance from four recent invitations for membership. They plan to have new member initiation at the May meeting. This meeting will be at the Conservation Center in Marr Park at Ainsworth. Linda McNeil has made the arrangements with the Conservation Center and will coordinate with Joyce Marie, who is hostess. Danielle Pettit-Majewski will be co-hostess for the May meeting.

Phyllis Eisele, chairman of Ways and Means Committee, reported that the nut sales are near completion. These funds are how menbers support the club?s camper program. Nut sales have done very well this year.

Linda McNeil, Camp Chairman, reported that she has been in contact with the school to obtain contacts for potential campers. This year they will send four campers and the selections will begin this week. They will attend Camp Wyoming June 3-8. Linda submitted a bill for camper supplies, which was approved.

The March issue of the national newsletter was issued by email. Linda McNeil shared a printed copy for members to review. There was detail in the newsletter regarding the camper T-shirts.

Each chapter will be invoiced for its T-shirts this year. Cost is not available at this time.

State T.T.T. Convention was April 13-14 in Pella. Robyn Lamb, president, was unable to attend. Lea Smothers is an alternate delegate and stated she was willing to go. Phyllis Eisele was planning to attend as the club?s second delegate.
