The Garden Department of Fortnightly met on March 15, 2016, at the home of Myrna Mittler. Five members were present. Roll call was ?Who Will You Mail Your Card To?? There were no minutes from the February meeting. Members were happy to welcome two guests, Gretta Embree, and Jan Boyd.
New business included information about the May breakfast, to be held at 9 a.m., May 10 in the Timmins Dining Room at Halcyon House. The program for the breakfast will be ?Ruth Viggers,? presented by Janice Twinam. Tickets should be available at the April meeting. There was no old business.
The program for the evening was ?Making Cards,? by Mary Langr, a program that is always enjoyed by the group. Mary prepares the materials, and each of the members makes three cards.
Refreshments were served, and there was a time for fellowship.
The next meeting will be on April 19 at the home of Linda Varney. The program is ?Something Really Awesome.?
