Retired School Personnel
Christie Kessel, founder of Little Superheroes, was the guest speaker at the Jefferson County Unit of the Iowa Retired School Personnel Oct. 24.
Little Superheroes is an organization from which families with chronically ill children can apply for support and financial assistance to alleviate expenses such as transportation, motels, therapies, and special education needs that families facing serious medical crises must shoulder. One of its past fundraisers was the Festival of Trees in Fairfield. For information on Little Superheroes, visit the website www.littlesuperheroesfairfield.com or call 233-7600.
