Collector Cars Unlimited hosting 37th annual car show Sunday

Collector Cars Unlimited of Fairfield will host its 37th annual car show, rain or shine, Sunday, Sept. 22, on the Fairfield square.

Car registration is set from 8 a.m. to noon, with a dash plaque given to the first 150 cars.

Participant voting will be from noon to 2 p.m., with the trophy presentation parade along the north side of the square at 3:30 p.m. Trophies will be presented for first-, second- and third-places in each of the 26 classes. Trophies also will be presented for special awards, such as the Kenny Tillis Memorial Club's Choice Award, Best of Show Truck and Best of Show Car.
