CEDAR RAPIDS ? Kirkwood Community College has released its Dean?s List for the Fall 2016 semester. These students have achieved a 3.3 grade point average or higher after completing 12 or more credit hours at the college.

Kirkwood students from the area earning this distinction include: Trenton Vrchoticky and Adilene Tapia, both of Columbus Junction; Morgan Brinning and Callie Hahn, both of Keota; and Michelle Howardson and Jaelyn Unternahrer, both of Wayland.

PELLA ?The following Central College students were named to the dean?s list for fall 2016.

Beth Dillon, of West Chester; Seth Eash of Kalona; Arissa Marine of Wellman; Keri Murphy of Washington; Carly Shelman of Washington; Ashley Sojka of Kalona; and Mariah Swartzentruber of Kalona.

The dean?s list honor is awarded to full-time students at Central College who achieve a 3.5 grade point average or higher on a 4.0 scale while taking 12 or more graded credit hours for the semester.

DECORAH ?Kristin Davis, Luther College junior of Washington, has been named to the 2016 fall semester Dean?s List.

Luther College?s fall 2016 Dean?s List includes 717 students; 114 first-years, 182 sophomores, 181 juniors and 240 seniors. To be named to the Dean?s List, a student must earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale and must complete at least 12 credit hours with 10 hours of conventional grades (A, B, C, D).
