MILLIKIN UNIVERSITY

Logan Hanson of Washington is among the undergraduates at Millikin University named to the dean's list for the fall 2020 semester.

Des Moines Area Community College President Rob Denson recently released the names of students eligible for the Fall Semester president's list and dean's list, as well as the list of graduates. To be eligible, a student must have completed a minimum of six credits and earned a 4.0 grade point average for that semester.

Washington's Kaitlin Roush graduates from the University of Iowa with two degrees

In December, more than 1,800 University of Iowa undergraduate, graduate, and professional students graduated under unusual circumstances. With the coronavirus pandemic upending traditional educational practices across campus and the country - including commencement ceremonies - 2020 proved to be a challenging year.

Kaitlin Roush of Washington was one of only 157 graduates to earn multiple degrees. Roush earned two: a Bachelor of Arts in World Language Education from the College of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
