Matthew Swanson of Ollie was among the 2011 spring graduates who received degrees in May from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind.
Swanson graduated cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree from the College of Arts and Letters. He received his degree in music performance and American studies. Highest honors were awarded by the departments of music and American studies, respectively.
