COLLEGE NEWS: Warburg, Wichita State, Marquette, Augustana

WARTBURG COLLEGE

Alexis Brown of New London has been accepted into the Wartburg College Teacher Education Program.

Brown had to demonstrate effective reflective components in teaching and complete several other requirements to be considered for the program.

Admission to the Teacher Education Program allows students to begin professional education courses in their field.

Wartburg College is located in Waverly, Iowa.

WICHITA STATE

Caytlyn M. Nystrom of Fairfield was named to the fall semester dean's list at Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas.

MARQUETTE UNIVERSITY

Meghaben Patel of Washington has been named to the dean's list for the fall 2020 semester at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Patel is pursuing a doctorate in physical therapy.

Eric Khondaker of Mt. Pleasant was also named to the dean's list. Khondaker is pursuing a master's degree.

AUGUSTANA COLLEGE

Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois, has announced the students who made the fall semester 2020 dean's list. Local students are:

' Gwendolyn Flannery of Washington, majoring in biology.

' John Flannery of Washington, majoring in Augie Ages undecided.

' Kelsey Notestein of Mt. Pleasant, majoring in psychology.
