Columbus Junction city council to meet

The City Council of Columbus Junction will meet in regular session at 5:30 p.m., Nov. 14, at the new Civic Center/City Hall. Public hearings will be held on antidegradation alternatives analysis, and on proposed street improvements – Locust Street RCB culvert replacement.

Agenda items include: Consent agenda, citizen's concern, approve submitting the antidegradation alternatives analysis to the DNR, approve Locust Street RCB culvert replacement drawings – specifications and cost estimates. Committee reports will be presented for Utilities Committee, Streets and Sidewalks, Public Safety, Finance, Community Development, and Employee Safety and Health, and a Library report will be given. The mayor's report will conclude the session.
