Columbus Junction City Council to meet Oct. 24

The Columbus Junction City Council will meet in regular session at 5:30 p.m., Oct. 24, at the New Civic Center/City Hall. Bid opening will take place before the council meeting for squad car.

Agenda items include citizen's concern; accept or refuse squad car bids; set public hearing for Antidegradation Alternatives Analysis (Nov. 14, 2018); set public hearing on proposed drawings, specifications, form of contract, and estimated cost of proposed street improvements – Locust Street RCB culvert replacement. Committee reports will be heard: Utilities, Streets and Sidewalks, Public Safety, Finance, Community Development, Library Report, and Employee Safety and Health. The mayor's report will be presented.
