A benefit show to raise money and collect clothing, food and personal items for the people left homeless by the recent fire at 406 W. Depot Ave. is set to begin at 9 p.m. Saturday at Red Rock Tavern.
Fooch, the MC of Fairfield?s Purple Asteroid Cadillac, will host while KRUU fm?s Universe Party spins a variety of danceable songs from the DJ booth.
Any kind of donation will be accepted. A committee has been formed to distribute the donations equally. The committee members have discussed working together to create another place for artists to work and live, like the destroyed building had provided. Anyone interested in the endeavor is encouraged to attend the benefit and meet the committee.
