Community 1st announces new branch assignments

Community 1st Credit Union is pleased to announce the naming of mortgage originators Rick Hernandez and Jennifer Springsteen-Murray to new branch assignments within the credit union.
Hernandez will add the Washington branch to his current Cedar Rapids area duties and Springsteen-Murray will now cover the Fairfield area along with the Mt. Pleasant branch. Both have effectively served the mortgage needs of C1st members for over four years.
'Community 1st is glad to have two, seasoned mortgage originators to move into the Washington and Fairfield branches,” said C1st Director of Mortgage Tom Schulte. 'Their background and experience will serve our members well.”
Hernandez is an East Coast native and has lived in Iowa for over 30 years. The University of Iowa MBA graduate has worked in the insurance field, pharmaceuticals and 10 years as a realtor. He and his wife Amy have one daughter.
He is bilingual, a member of the League of United Latin American Citizens and Habitat for Humanity.
Springsteen-Murray is a lifelong resident of southeast Iowa and a Burlington Community High School graduate. Her work background includes 20 years in retail including a sales and service manager position with U.S. Bank. She resides in Burlington with her husband, Kerry.
She is an active member of Business and Professional Women of Iowa and an affiliate of Southeast Iowa Board of Realtors.
