Community 1st Credit Union names Cyndi Parks Mt. Pleasant branch manager

Community 1st Credit Union is pleased to announce Cyndi Parks has been named the Mt. Pleasant branch manager.

The Ottumwa native has worked in the financial industry for 18 years including a C1st teller position in Ottumwa's Pennsylvania Avenue branch 16 years ago. Most recently, she was a senior branch manager for a Burlington bank.

'C1st's commitment to the communities they serve is very impressive,” said Parks. 'I am looking forward to working with my team and expanding our footprint in the Mt. Pleasant market.”

Parks is a devoted community volunteer and was named Main Street Iowa Volunteer of the Year 2015. She is involved in several non-profit foundations.

She resides in Burlington with her husband Lorne and they have three sons and a grandson.

'Cyndi has an exceptional management and financial background,” said regional manager Kristina Kremer. 'C1st will have an effective and experienced leader in Mt. Pleasant.”

Community 1st Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative with more than $780 million in assets. The credit union, established in 1936, serves more than 60,000 members.
