Community 1st Credit Union names Kathy Winkelman branch manager in Mt. Pleasant
Community 1st Credit Union is pleased to name Kathy Winkelman as Branch Manager of the Mt. Pleasant Branch. Kathy has been with C1st for almost 15 years, hired on as a teller, then after five years she transferred over to the Member Solutions team for a short time, shortly going back to the branch as a personal representative in Fairfield. She held that position for nine years until ultimately being promoted to Branch Manager.
Winkelman grew up in Fairfield, IA and graduated from Fairfield High School. She pursued further education at Cornell College and received her Masters in Education degree in community counseling from Loyola University in Chicago. Kathy currently resides in Fairfield with her husband and their two dogs, they have two grown children, their oldest graduated from Boston University and lives in Chicago, and their youngest is currently enrolled in Loyola University in Chicago. In her free time, Kathy really enjoys reading and watching the Chicago Cubs play baseball.
Kathy currently serves on the Greater Jefferson County Foundation board, as well as being an Ambassador for the Mt. Pleasant Chamber. Kathy enjoys being a volunteer in her community and you can expect to see her at many events.
