The Fall Ingathering kits for the United Methodists are still being collected for the Ingathering in Mt. Pleasant on Saturday, Nov. 2.

Pat Miller has volunteered to take over this project of organizing and putting together these items. There is still a list of items needed on the hall table. If anyone prefers that someone else do the shopping they can write a check to UCC or give the money to Miller. The Dorcas ladies are making school bags for this project. They want to keep up the tradition of putting together 150 kits.

The Crawfordsville Lions Club will hold a pancake and sausage breakfast on Saturday, Sept. 21, from 7-9:30 a.m. at the Crawfordsville Ball Park.

Tickets are available in advance from Crawfordsville Lions members or at Agri-Way Partners in Crawfordsville. They also can be purchased at the door. Proceeds will go to supporting the club's WACO Senior Scholarship.

There will be a citywide fall clean-up in September, with the date yet to be determined. It will be held on a Monday this year, rather than Saturday. Everyone has time to round up their items before the big day.
