Community worship planned at Salem Old Setters Days

As part of Salem Old Settlers Days, a community worship service will be at 10 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, in the park.
Music will be presented by Spencer Thury of Oskaloosa and his band, Banjhornazoo. The band does traveling street ministry, with a combination of instruments that can include banjo, tuba, piano, horns and kazoo.
After the service, a community potluck will be at the park's shelterhouse. Drinks and tableservice will be provided, and all are invited to share in the meal.
In case of inclement weather, the concert and potluck will be at Salem Friends Church.
