Conger House Museum to be open Sunday, Aug. 20
The Conger House Museum in Washington will be open from 1 to 4 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 20. The exhibit this summer features a Washington County World War I collection to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the U.S. involvement in The Great War. There are uniforms and memorabilia from several local veterans, including Henry Berdo, Jesse Radda, Meryl Steele, Tom Lowry, Smith Brookhart and Agnes Swift.

The Conger House Museum in Washington will be open from 1 to 4 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 20. The museum will be open on the third Sunday of each month from June through October. There is a fee for admission.
