Congregate meals are served at 11:30 a.m. weekdays at Fairfield Community Center. Reservations are required one day in advance at the center or by calling 472-4403. A fee is charged.
The menu is:
Monday, Sept. 9 – garlic herbed pork, mashed sweet potatoes, cauliflower with parsley, frosted cake, cornbread.
Tuesday, Sept. 10 – turkey salad, tomato wedges, cottage cheese, garden pasta salad, crackers, fresh fruit.
Wednesday Sept. 11 – baked chicken, O'Brien potatoes, creamed spinach, peach fruit crisp, wheat roll. Dine-in vegetable alternative: corn.
Thursday, Sept. 12 – cheddar chicken spaghetti, Italian vegetables, marinated cucumbers and onions, plums, garlic bread.
Friday, Sept. 13 – panko crusted baked fish with cheese topping, red beans and rice, California blend vegetables, strawberries. Dine-in entree alternative: baked ham.
