Congregate meals are served at 11:30 a.m. weekdays at Fairfield Community Center. Reservations are required one day in advance at the center or by calling 472-4403. A fee is charged.
The menu is:
Monday, Sept. 30 - Swedish meatballs with sauce, homemade mashed potatoes, Italian vegetables, vanilla pudding, wheat roll.
Tuesday, Oct. 1 - baked tilapia, rice pilaf, green beans, chopped green salad, dressing.
Wednesday, Oct. 2 - homemade garden vegetable soup, deli turkey and cheese on bun, cottage cheese with peaches, chocolate chip cookie.
Thursday, Oct. 3 - ham balls, scalloped potatoes, green peas, whole grain bread, angel food cake with fruit.
Friday, Oct. 4 - homemade hamburger steak with bun, lettuce leaf and onion slice, brussels sprouts, mixed berry cup. Dine-in alternate choice vegetable: corn.
