Congregate Meals

The Fairfield Senior Citizen Center has listed its menu for the coming week.

Meals are served at 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday at the Fairfield senior center and at noon Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the Lockridge senior center.

Monday ? herb chicken breast, scalloped potatoes, asparagus cuts, peach-strawberry-banana medley, ice cream cup.

Tuesday ? roast pork, candied sweet potatoes, cheesey steamed cabbage, banana, oatmeal-raisin cookie.

Wednesday ? turkey noodle casserole, corn, mixed green salad with lemon-dill dressing, baked apple.

Thursday and May 2 ? not available.

Meals are offered on a contribution basis. For a person 60 years old or older and his or her spouse of any age, the suggested contribution is $3.50. The suggested contribution for a home-delivered meal is $4.

An individual younger than 60 must pay the full cost of the meal; the cost is posted at the meal site.

Reservations for meals at the Fairfield senior center must be made one day in advance at the center or by calling 472-4403.
