Congregate Meals

The Fairfield Senior Citizen Center has listed its menu for the coming week.

Meals are served at 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday at the Fairfield senior center and at noon Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the Lockridge senior center.

Monday ? Hearty Beef and Bean Vegetable Soup, saltine crackers, Orange Surprise Salad, homemade wheat dinner roll, pears, crispy rice bar.

Tuesday ? Thanksgiving dinner: roast turkey, mashed potatoes, sage bread stuffing, gravy, cook?s choice salad, pumpkin pie.

Wednesday ? Salisbury steak with gravy, oven-brown potato, Broccoli Normandy, diced peaches, orange juice.

Thursday and Nov. 23 ? Thanksgiving; all meal sites closed. Contact the local meal site for options.

Meals are offered on a contribution basis for persons 60 years of age and older and their spouses of any age. Full cost of meals is: congregate, $5.87; carryout, $6.35; home delivered, $7.73.

Reservations at the Fairfield site must be made one day in advance at the center or by calling 472-4403.

Bingo is played from 12:15-1:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday in Fairfield.
