The Fairfield Senior Citizen Center has listed its menu for the coming week.
Meals are at 11:30 a.m.
Monday ? Salisbury steak with gravy, oven-brown potato, Broccoli Normandy, diced peaches, orange juice.
Tuesday ? hearty beef and bean vegetable soup, saltine crackers, Orange Surprise Salad, homemade wheat dinner roll, apricot half, crispy rice bar.

The Fairfield Senior Citizen Center has listed its menu for the coming week.

Monday ? Salisbury steak with gravy, oven-brown potato, Broccoli Normandy, diced peaches, orange juice.
Tuesday ? hearty beef and bean vegetable soup, saltine crackers, Orange Surprise Salad, homemade wheat dinner roll, apricot half, crispy rice bar.
Wednesday ? roast pork with gravy, mashed potato, scalloped cabbage, banana orange cup.
Thursday ? roast turkey, mashed potato, sage bread stuffing, gravy, broccoli and cauliflower salad, Pumpkin Whip.
Oct. 14 ? barbecued pork, wheat bun, scalloped potatoes, peas, tropical fruit.
Milk, whole wheat and whole grain bread/muffins, and margarine are offered with all meals.
Meals are offered on a contribution basis for persons 60 years of age and older and their spouses of any age. Full cost of meals is: congregate, $5.87; carryout, $6.35; home delivered, $7.73.
Reservations must be made one day in advance either at the center or by calling 472-4403.
Monday and Wednesday meals will be served at the Lockridge center at noon. For reservations at Lockridge, call 319-696-2711.
Bingo will be played from 12:15-1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Fairfield.
A meeting on Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement and Part D coverage is set for 12:30 p.m. Oct. 14. Call 515-577-8171 to reserve a seat.
