Wednesday ? baked chicken, mahed potatoes, gravy, creamed spinach, apricot halves.
Thursday ? New Year?s dinner: ham and beans, Tomato Spoon Salad, cornbread muffin, cottage cheese, pineapple, orange juice.
Dec. 30 ? closed. Contact the center about meal options.
Milk, whole wheat and whole grain bread/muffins, and margarine are offered with all meals. This menu provides a general balanced diet that meets the RDA?s/RIA?s for adults.
Meals are offered on a contribution basis for persons 60 years of age and older and their spouses of any age. Full cost of meals is: congregate, $5.87; carryout, $6.35; home delivered, $7.73.
Reservations must be made one day in advance either at the center or through the Agency on Aging, 472-4403.
Monday and Wednesday meals will be served at the Lockridge center at noon. For reservations at Lockridge, call 319-696-2711.
Bingo will be played from 12:15-1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Fairfield.
