Congregate Meals: Jan. 23-27

The Fairfield Senior Citizen Center has listed its menu for the coming week.

Meals are at 11:30 a.m.

Monday ? spaghetti with meat sauce; green beans; layered lettuce salad; diced pears; orange juice.

Tuesday ? pork cutlets, sweet potatoes, peas, mandarin oranges, tomato juice.

Wednesday ? chicken; baked potato with sour cream; brussel sprouts with cheese; banana and peach cup.

Thursday ? beef stew; whole-grain biscuit; tossed lettuce salad with assorted dressings; sliced strawberries; crispy rice bar.

Jan. 27 ? hot turkey sandwich; mashed potatoes with gravy; corn; applesauce.

Meals are offered on a contribution basis for persons 60 years of age and older and their spouses of any age. Cost of meals is: congregate, $5.87; carryout, $6.35; home delivered, $7.73.

Reservations must be made one day in advance either at the center or by calling 472-4403.

Monday, Wednesday and Friday meals are served at noon at the Lockridge center. For reservations, call 319-696-2711.

Bingo is planned after the meal on Tuesday and Thursday.
