Congregate meals are served at 11:30 a.m. weekdays at Fairfield Community Center. Reservations are required one day in advance at the center or by calling 641-472-4403. A fee is charged.
Monday, Jan. 27 - Salisbury steak, baked potato, sour cream, four way mixed veggies, whole grain bread, tropical fruit.
Tuesday, Jan. 28 - Open faced turkey sandwich with bread and gravy, homemade mashed potatoes, corn, strawberry ice cream.
Wednesday, Jan. 29 - Herbed baked cod, au gratin potatoes, roasted broccoli, whole grain roll, blueberry crisp, corn.
Thursday, Jan. 30 - Chili soup, carrot slaw with raisins, corn bread, fresh fruit.
Friday, Jan. 31 - Baked chicken breast, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans with onions, whole grain roll, lime fruited gelatin, liver and onions.
