Congregate Meals: July 8-12, 2013
The Fairfield Senior Citizen Center has listed its congregate meal menu for the coming week.
Meals are served at 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday at the Fairfield senior center and at noon Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the Lockridge senior center.
Monday ? spaghetti and meat sauce, broccoli and cauliflower, spinach salad with vinegar and oil dressing, peach banana gelatin.

The Fairfield Senior Citizen Center has listed its congregate meal menu for the coming week.
Meals are served at 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday at the Fairfield senior center and at noon Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the Lockridge senior center.
Monday ? spaghetti and meat sauce, broccoli and cauliflower, spinach salad with vinegar and oil dressing, peach banana gelatin.
Tuesday ? chicken salad sandwich with lettuce and tomato slice, potato salad, broccoli, cantaloupe, oatmeal raisin cookie.
Wednesday ? pot roast, boiled potatoes, sautéed onions, baby carrots, sliced strawberries, ice cream, cake.
Thursday ? glazed pork chop, baked sweet potato half, kale/spinach, banana.
July 12 ? potato-crusted fish, lemon wedge, parsley noodles, lima beans, orange slices or wedges, oatmeal cookie.
Milk, whole-wheat and whole-grain bread/muffins, and margarine are offered with all meals.
The menu provides a general balanced diet that meets the RDA?s/RIA?s for adults.
Meals are offered on a contribution basis for persons 60 years of age and older and their spouses of any age. Full cost of meals is: congregate, $5.87; carryout, $6.35; home delivered, $7.73.
Reservations for meals at the Fairfield senior center must be made one day in advance either at the center or by calling 472-4403.

Bingo is played after the meal from 12:15-1:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday at the Fairfield Senior Citizen Center.
