Congregate Meals: June 6-10, 2017

Fairfield Senior Citizen Center has listed its menu for the coming week.

Meals are served at 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday at the Fairfield senior center and at noon Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the Lockridge senior center.

Monday ? baked chicken, scalloped potatoes, asparagus cuts, peach-strawberry-banana medley, wheat dinner roll or bread with margarine.

Tuesday ? roast beef, mashed potatoes, brown gravy, Copper Penny Salad, fresh melon plate, wheat dinner roll or bread with margarine.

Wednesday ? tuna noodle casserole, broccoli with cheese sauce, mixed green lettuce salad with sour cream salad dressing, baked apple, wheat dinner roll or bread with margarine.

Thursday ? Seniors? Night Out supper; no lunch served. Check with the senior center about meal options and signing up for the evening meal and entertainment.

June 10 ? potato-crusted fish fillet, oven-roasted red potatoes, green pea and onion salad, fruited yogurt parfait, wheat dinner roll or bread with margarine.

Milk is offered with all meals.

For people 60 years of age and older and their spouse of any age, there is a suggested contribution based on income range. Individuals younger than 60 pay the full meal charge as posted at the meal site.

Reservations for meals at Fairfield must be made one day in advance either at the senior center or by calling 472-4403. For reservations at Lockridge, call 319-696-2086.

Bingo is played 12:15-1:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday at the senior center in Fairfield.
