Congregate Meals: March 19-23, 2012
The Fairfield Senior Citizen Center has listed its menu for the coming week.
Meals are served at 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday at the Fairfield senior center and at noon Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the Lockridge senior center.
In observance of Lent, fish will be offered as an alternative each Friday through April 8. Diners should let the meal site know if they prefer fish when making reservations.

The Fairfield Senior Citizen Center has listed its menu for the coming week.
Meals are served at 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday at the Fairfield senior center and at noon Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the Lockridge senior center.

Monday ? baked chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, creamed corn, apricot halves.
Tuesday ? ham and beans, Tomato Spoon Salad, cornbread muffin, cottage cheese, pineapple, orange juice.
Wednesday ? beef meatballs, gravy, baby red potatoes, green beans, banana orange cup.
Thursday ? baked fish, baked potato, sour cream, creamed peas, fresh fruit.
March 23 ? beef and noodles, mashed potato, Harvard beets, banana nut muffin, Mandarin oranges, pudding.
Milk, whole wheat and whole grain bread/muffins, and margarine are offered with all meals.
Meals are offered on a contribution basis for persons 60 years of age and older and their spouses of any age. Full cost of meals is: congregate, $5.87; carryout, $6.35; home delivered, $7.73.
Reservations for meals at the Fairfield senior center must be made one day in advance either at the center or by calling 472-4403.
For reservations at Lockridge, call 319-696-2711.
Bingo is played from 12:15-1:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday in Fairfield.
