Congregate meals Nov. 11-15

Congregate meals are served at 11:30 a.m. weekdays at Fairfield Community Center. Reservations are required one day in advance at the center or by calling 641-472-4403. A fee is charged.

Monday, Nov. 11 - All nutrition centers will be closed in honor of Veterans Day.

Tuesday, Nov. 12 - Herbed pork roast, sweet potato casserole, black eyed peas, creamy coleslaw, dinner roll, cake.

Wednesday, Nov. 13 - Homemade garden vegetable soup, deli turkey and cheese on bun, cottage cheese with peaches, chocolate chip cookie.

Thursday, Nov. 14 - Ham Balls, scalloped potatoes, green peas, whole grain bread, angel food cake with fruit.

Friday, Nov. 15 - Homemade hamburger steak with bun, lettuce leaf and onion slice, brussel sprouts, mixed berry crisp, corn.
