Congregate Meals: Nov. 7-11, 2011

The Fairfield Senior Citizen Center menu for the coming week is:

Monday ? chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, broccoli with cheese sauce, strawberry and banana chocolate chip bar.

Tuesday ? baked ham, baked potato with sour cream, steamed cabbage, rosy applesauce.

Wednesday ? potato chowder with saltine crackers, hamburger on whole-wheat bun with slices of lettuce, tomato and onion, ambrosia salad.

Thursday ? meat loaf, scalloped potatoes, sliced carrots, red fruited gelatin, orange juice.

Nov. 11 ? closed for Veterans Day.

Meals are at 11:30 a.m.

Meals are offered on a contribution basis for persons 60 years of age and older and their spouses of any age. Full cost of meals is: congregate, $5.87; carryout, $6.35; home delivered, $7.73.

Reservations must be made one day in advance either at the center or by calling 472-4403.

Monday and Wednesday meals will be served at the Lockridge center at noon. For reservations at Lockridge, call 319-696-2711.
