Congregate Meals: Sept. 24-28, 2012

Congregate meals are served at 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday at Fairfield Senior Citizen Center and at noon Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the Lockridge senior center.

Monday ? hamburger, wheat hamburger bun, oven-brown potato, baked beans, sliced strawberries, oatmeal raisin cookie.

Tuesday ? liver and onions, parsley butter potato, gravy, mixed vegetables, banana bran muffin, ice cream cup.

Wednesday ? baked chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, tomato cucumber salad, peaches, crispy rice bar.

Thursday ? Round Up Bean Casserole, mixed green salad, assorted dressings, bananas, muffin.

Sept. 28 ? Salisbury steak with gravy, sweet potatoes, creamy coleslaw with carrots, wheat dinner roll, orange-apricot gelatin salad, whipped topping.

Reservations for the Fairfield center must be made one day in advance either at the center or by calling 472-4403. For reservations at Lockridge, call 319-696-2711.

Bingo is played 12:15-1:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday in Fairfield.
