The Fairfield Senior Citizen Center has listed its menu for the coming week.
Meals are served at 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday at the Fairfield senior center and at noon Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the Lockridge senior center.
Monday ? Labor Day. All meal sites closed.
Tuesday ? chef?s choice soup, chef salad bowl, broccoli, fruit, frosted cake.

The Fairfield Senior Citizen Center has listed its menu for the coming week.
Meals are served at 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday at the Fairfield senior center and at noon Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the Lockridge senior center.
Monday ? Labor Day. All meal sites closed.
Tuesday ? chef?s choice soup, chef salad bowl, broccoli, fruit, frosted cake.
Wednesday ? baked chicken, baby red potatoes, spinach, mandarin oranges, apple cinnamon bar.
Thursday ? country fried steak, mashed potatoes, gravy, brussel sprouts, homemade wheat dinner roll, strawberry-peach gelatin.
Sept. 7 ? baked fish, lemon wedge, baked potato, sour cream, kidney bean salad, Cool Pie.
Milk, whole-wheat and whole-grain bread/muffins, and margarine are offered with all meals. The menu provides a general balanced diet that meets the RDA?s/RIA?s for adults.
Meals are offered on a contribution basis for persons 60 years of age and older and their spouses of any age. Full cost of meals is: congregate, $5.87; carryout, $6.35; home delivered, $7.73.
Reservations for meals at the Fairfield senior center must be made one day in advance either at the center or by calling 472-4403.

Bingo is played from 12:15-1:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, and the Ed Bruegge Band plays at noon the first Wednesday of every month in Fairfield.
The Senior Night Out, with an evening meal and entertainment, is on the calendar for Sept. 13 at the Fairfield Senior Citizen Center. The meal will include hamburger patty, baked beans, chips, pea salad, pears, cookie and dinner roll. Reservations are appreciated. No noon meal will be served Sept. 13.
Frozen or shelf-stable meals can be provided for holidays, like Labor Day, weekends and evenings on a contribution basis.
