Congregate Menu: July 16-20, 2012

The Fairfield Senior Citizen Center menu for the coming week is:

Monday ? pork cutlet, sour cream mashed potatoes, gravy, spinach, fruit, orange juice.

Tuesday ? Swedish meatballs, noodles, broccoli, banana bran muffin, Waldorf salad.

Wednesday ? baked chicken, potato salad, black bean-corn-tomato salad, fruit, bread pudding, whipped topping.

Thursday ? baked fish, tartar sauce, oven-brown potato, creamy coleslaw with carrots, bread, fruited gelatin, whipped topping.

July 20 ? beef stew, tossed salad, assorted dressing, slices strawberries, Poke Cake.

Meals are offered on a contribution basis for persons 60 years of age and older and their spouses of any age. Full cost of meals is: congregate, $5.87; carryout, $6.35; home delivered, $7.73.

Meals are served at 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday at the Fairfield senior center and at noon Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the Lockridge senior center.

Reservations at the Fairfield senior center must be made one day in advance either at the center or by calling 472-4403.

Bingo is played from 12:15-1:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday in Fairfield.
